“Play high-quality DivX content live in your web browser”

DivX Browser Plug-In lets you play high-quality DivX content live in your web browser, working with Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox and Mozilla. It does not require a special streaming server or any server side installation so it's easy to use in your own web pages.

The plug-in is able to automatically download content you watch to your hard drive so that you can replay it later using the free DivX Player, and you can even expand the video to full screen for the ultimate viewing experience.

Features of the plug-in include:

  • Playback DivX AVI files (DivX 5/6 video + MP3 audio) stored on a regular web server live in your browser
  • Save files to to disk so that you can replay them later with the free DivX Player
  • Monitor your connection speed and the download buffer during playback
  • Watch video in windowed mode or blow it up to fullscreen
  • Seek and trick play into the download buffer
  • Change preferences for the download behavior
  • Check for updates and instantly update the plug-in (with prompting)
